Description

Low-energy observables can probe potential heavy new physics beyond the reach of high-energy colliders even in scenarios where the latter are naively favored. A well-motivated example is the case where new physics mainly couples to the top quark. In this talk we go through the different low-energy sectors and study the track that contributions from D=6 SMEFT top-quark operators induced at the TeV scale could be leaving. A strong interplay and synergy among the different sectors is observed, as revealed by one and two parameter fits and simple UV models.
