Simulation & reconstruction (KB)
Karol still trying to fix the attenuation problem. No artifact when simulating thorax or breast separately but it appears when both are included. Gave up for now due to no progress.
Currently working on image quality – resolution as a function of the distance from the probe. Expects results by the next meeting.

Carles had problems with the computer so will have new results with the modified trigger circuit by the next meeting.

Andrej tested the multiplication diode (borrowed) with GP7, results expected by the next meeting. Also progressing with construction of the module for MRI system – currently equipped the hybrid with 3 chips.
Andrej is working on reconstruction of a simulated 2D Derenzo phantom for different data types. He investigated how detectability index depends on the distance of the source from the center of FOV and how resolution (PSF) and variance depend on number of iterations.
