Neal expanded on Harris’ report about their meeting at OSU. Neal established contacts with a group working on proton CT. Another field of interest is beta probe, surgeons at UoM are still interested in it. Neal also thinks we should look some more into Compton applications.
A discussion about advantages and disadvantages of LGAD (low gain amplification detectors - silicon multiplication detectors with gain of ~ 10) for our applications and some other new approaches and technologies followed.

Karol is trying to do some comparisons between simulation and experimental data (1040 pad probe). Looks pretty good so far but no results available yet, expect them by the next meeting.
