Andrej presented new results on the study of the variance-resolution trade-off. His results show that Si-Si does not benefit much more than Si-BGO if the required resolution is low but becomes much better as resolution improves. The global message would be that you can always trade efficiency for spatial resolution (i.e. use many low-res events or few high-res events). Results available at the Indico page

Projects: Horizon 2020
Dejan found that US researchers are eligible for funding under all topics in Health due to a bilateral agreement of EC with the NIH. This could be beneficial for both US and EU partners of CIMA and should be investigated further.
Rest of the discussion of the projects was postponed to the next meeting due to many key people missing.
