Description
Meeting dedicated to improvements in adaptive particle therapy.
Adaptive particle therapy is a fast, responsive system, that would allow plans to be generated and adapted in real-time. Regardless of patient anatomy or position, a real-time adaptive PT system (RAPTOR) would be able to generate a treatment plan and adapt it to any changes with little prior information about the patient. The system would be so precise, that significantly less QA would be required and the whole process would be automated. Furthermore, the system would also be responsive enough to handle any disturbances or deviations and adapt to them accordingly. Such a system would completely revolutionize clinical workflows.
