Description
I will review some advances in the understanding of the gauge-gravity dualities and their applications to constructing higher-derivative corrections to the Einstein-Hilbert Lagrangian. Particular focus will be placed on recent formalisms designed to capture higher-derivative corrections that are related to quantum gravity scenarios, such as the leading-order corrections of non-commutative gravity and the low-energy limit of string theory.
