Silicon corona proposal
Harris pointed out that GP7 chip has inadequate timing resolution for modern PET applications (only good energy resolution does not offer enough edge anymore) therefore he suggests we should develop a new chip for the PET project as well. We should take the advantage of knowing all the requirements for the chip. Minimum cost for 4 mm2 chip submission is ~12k USD.
We should make a list of potential partners (e.g. Sintef, Scivis (image reconstruction), Mediso (NM imaging company from Hungary), Detector (technology transfer company Paola knows) …).
A document containing extracts and links to guidance for proposal preparation uploaded to the Indico page. Andrej and Gabriela will revise the existing draft based on the guidelines.
Dejan will look into status/options for adding a WP dedicated to new radiopharmaceuticals.
